Events of this caliber are captured by high-definition cameras. The lighting had to guarantee absolute color temperature (CCT) stability and completely flicker-free operation.
Live Environment
With global corporate deciders and heads of state taking the stage, the margin for technical error was zero. The entire control and distribution system had to be 100% predictable and reliable.
Form vs. Function
The scenic design needed to blend a clean, corporate look with modern dynamics. The fixtures had to be low-profile enough not to distract the speakers, yet powerful enough to build visual depth across massive exhibition halls.
SOLUTIONS
The Brighter Lighting System at Impact
Deploying 116 intelligent lighting units—including X-Dot Wash IP, X-Dot Max IP, X-Strobe IP, and Pixel Strobe IP—allowed the team to gain complete control over the visual environment:
Precise Front & Key Lighting: The X-Dot Wash IP series served as the foundation for the stage lighting. Their smooth color temperature tuning allowed for a perfect match with the broadcast camera sensors, eliminating white balance issues for the video department.
Dynamic Visual Accents: Utilizing X-Strobe IP and Pixel Strobe IP units made it possible to run dynamic cues and punchy transitions during multimedia presentations and keynote entrances.
All-Weather Reliability: Even though Impact took place indoors, using IP-rated fixtures eliminated dust and moisture buildup inside the optical chambers. For long corporate schedules, this prevents lens fogging and output degradation.
