INTRODUCTION
Technical Optimization in a Multi-Artist Festival Environment
Juwenalia is a demanding festival project where artists with vastly different technical requirements share the same stage over a short period. The goal for the CMA PL crew was to design a lighting system that would fully meet the rider specs of highly diverse acts—including Białas, Young Igi, PlanBe, Modelki, and Happysad—while delivering a spectacular visual experience for a massive crowd.
CHALLENGES
Rider Compatibility
The main hurdle was creating a universal festival rig that would be readily accepted by all incoming technical crews, completely eliminating the need for time-consuming re-configurations or changeovers between show days.
Outdoor Reliability
Operating in unpredictable weather required high IP-rated fixtures to guarantee uninterrupted performance with zero risk of water damage or technical downtime.
Visual Dynamics
The rig had to match modern audience expectations, offering not just raw output, but the versatility to instantly shift from gritty hip-hop moods to high-energy EDM sets.
SOLUTIONS
The Brighter Lighting Ecosystem
The CMA crew deployed a balanced setup built around key technological pillars:
X-Profile IP: Thanks to their advanced optics and framing shutters, these units handled precise front lighting duties. The IP65-rated housing completely neutralized the impact of the elements on the fixtures.
X-Dot Wash IP: These fixtures provided rich, saturated, and even wash coverage across the entire stage. A crucial technical feature was the excellent color consistency between units, which delivered the homogeneous background necessary for visual continuity throughout the festival.
CONCLUSION
The Juwenalia production proved that Brighter Lighting fixtures offer a complete, scalable ecosystem capable of replacing multiple specialized fixture types. The chosen configuration became a perfect common denominator for all visiting technical crews, ensuring smooth show transitions while maintaining top-tier visual standards.
